Valle Vista, Calif.; On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at approximately 11:25 a.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Hemet station responded to numerous reports of shots being fired in the unincorporated community of Valle Vista, which sits adjacent to Soboba Creek and Indian Creek Road.
Citizens of the area, whose nerves are still frayed and worn thin from several recent highly publicized violent incidents in the area, including a double homicide and multiple random victims who were shot without any provocation or warning by an armed suspect in Banning; a murder of a caretaker by her brother-in-law in Hemet and another incident in Hemet where two victims were stabbed without warning by an armed suspect, were quick to flood the sheriff's communication Central Dispatch with 911 calls regarding the shots being fired.
Deputies in patrol vehicles immediately began to swarm into the 4400 block of Galicia Drive, near the intersection of Beltham Avenue, from surrounding areas and immediately set about the process of attempting to determine where the reported shots had been fired from and if there were any injured victims who needed medical attention. With assistance from a Riverside County sheriff's helicopter, deputies searched the entire surrounding area for signs of any crime that might have occurred.
Deputy Michael Vasquez of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Media Information Bureau stated that during the investigation, which is still ongoing, deputies interviewed a number of potential witnesses and that no potential victims had been located.
As of 4:30 p.m., deputies had not yet located the source of the gunfire and they were still completing their investigation. Deputy Vasques also stated that as of the time of this report, some deputies were still on scene, conducting further interviews. No roads were closed as a result of the investigation
When asked about some witness reports regarding the possibility of fireworks being used, Deputy Vasquez could not confirm or deny that report, pending the conclusion of the on-scene deputies investigation.
Deputy Vasquez urged that anyone with any information regarding this incident contact Riverside County Sheriff's dispatch at (951) 776-1099 or the Hemet sheriff's station at (951) 791-3400.

Everyone knew more housing development meant sky rocketing crime because it leaves behind ghettos in older parts of the area.
