Employee arrested for embezzlement from San Jacinto Walmart

On September 22, 2015, at approximately 11:26 a.m., a deputy from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's San Jacinto station was dispatched to the Walmart, located in the 1800 block of South San Jacinto Avenue, regarding the report of an employee related embezzlement from that location.

Upon arrival, the deputy determined a crime had been committed by a Walmart employee and subsequently arrested 19-year-old Jasmine Davis for violation of 508 PC, embezzlement.

Per a press release from the San Jacinto Police Department, Davis was later booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.

In their press release for this incident, the San Jacinto Police Department reminded all it's citizens that "arrests are public information and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court."
