CORONA RESIDENT ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL BATTERY 
AT LAKE ELSINORE SHOE STORE

On September 21, 2015, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Police Department responded to a shoe store located on the 16000 block of Lakeshore Drive regarding a call of a sexual battery that occurred at the location. Upon arrival, responding deputies learned an adult male had reportedly inappropriately touched an adult female while he was inside the store. Before responding deputies arrived, the suspect left the location.

Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Station were called in and immediately began investigating the case and identified the suspect as Mohammad Nabizada (53 years) of Corona. The following day, on September 22, 2015, Mohammad Nabizada was arrested for one count of felony sexual battery. Nabizada was later booked into Southwest Detention Center. 


In a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Sgt. Steve Brosche wrote that anyone with any additional information related to this incident is encouraged to call Investigator Deanne at the Lake Elsinore Station at (951) 245-3300.
