Jurupa Valley, Calif.;
On Saturday, July 25, 2015, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Jurupa Valley station were dispatched to a residence located in the 5900 block of Morning Dove Dr., Jurupa Valley, regarding the report of a theft that had occurred at the location.

Upon arrival, responding deputies met with the victim who advised that among the items stolen were the victim's credit cards and personal identification information. During the course of their investigation, deputies learned the victim's credit cards and stolen identity were later used or attempted to be used to purchase merchandise at several area retail businesses.

Based on the type of crime that had occurred, the Jurupa Valley Station's Burglary Suppression Team assumed control of this ongoing investigation. An extensive follow-up investigation led to the identification the primary suspect, who was identified as Alberto Ramirez Romero, a 23-year-old resident of San Bernardino.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Jurupa Valley Station's Burglary Suppression Team served a search warrant at Ramirez' residence located in the 2000 block of W. Rialto Ave., San Bernardino.

Ramirez was located at the residence and was detained without incident. During a subsequent search of Ramirez' residence, numerous different items of known and suspected stolen property were recovered from the residence. Several of the items recovered were determined to have been stolen from residences located in San Bernardino.
Detectives from the San Bernardino Police Department responded to the residence to assist the Burglary Suppression Team in identifying stolen property. San Bernardino Police Detectives will continue further investigation into any thefts that were determined to have occurred within their jurisdiction.

Ramirez was later booked into jail at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside for multiple felony charges, including grand theft, burglary and possession of stolen property.

In a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Sgt. Justin Rowan wrote, "This investigation is ongoing and we're asking anyone with additional information to contact Deputy D. Newman at the Jurupa Valley Station at 951-955-2600." Callers can refer to incident file number JV152060134
