USMC Veteran Gets Well Deserved Help….

A few months ago, Hemet Police Officers responded to a call in the Seven Hills Community after a resident and USMC combat veteran, Mr. Bob Chadd had contacted the VA Crisis Hotline seeking some assistance. Officers arrived and Sgt. Glen Brock was able to provide help to Mr. Chadd. Over the last few months, Sgt. Brock and Mr. Chadd have developed a relationship that led to discussions about many issues our military veterans face every day. Mr. Chadd recently contacted Sgt. Brock and told him he had been awarded a grant for disabled veterans from the Home Depot for a remodeling project that he needed to help make his home more accessible. We are glad to report that Home Depot has come through and is customizing Mr. Chadd’s home this weekend making his life easier. Mr. Chadd asked us to share the following information so other veterans in our community can become familiar with the resources that assisted him.
Congratulations Mr. Chadd and awesome work by the good people at Home Depot! Semper Fi!
