Man Assaulted with Vehicle
On 7-31-15 at approximately 6:56 AM, The Hemet Police Department received a call of verbal disturbance in the 1400 block of S. Gilbert St.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a 53 year old white male adult lying in the street, unable to move, suffering from injuries, consistent with being hit with a vehicle.  Medical aid was provided to the victim and he was transported to a local hospital.  His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Investigators were contacted and discovered there was a video of the event, depicting two suspects, one involved in the verbal argument with the victim, and the other driving the victim’s vehicle at a high rate of speed.

It was learned that this incident was a result of an on-going road rage incident in which one of the suspects stole the victim’s car. Based on information gained from the video it appears the male victim was intentionally hit with his own vehicle.

The victim’s vehicle was abandoned at the scene after the collision and both suspects fled in the Ford truck described below.  The Hemet Police Department is requesting any and all information leading to the identification and detention of the two suspects in this case.

Suspect #1 White or light skinned Hispanic male, between the ages of 18-25, approximately 5”10”, thin build approximately 140 Lbs., with brown hair, wearing blue jeans, black shirt, and a black baseball style hat.

Suspect #2 White or light skinned Hispanic male, between the ages of 18-25, approximately 5”08”, thin build approximately 130 Lbs., with brown hair, wearing black jeans, white short sleeve shirt, and a predominately white with black baseball style hat backwards.

Suspect Vehicle is a 2006-2011 body style, standard cab Ford Ranger pick-up truck, white in color.  The vehicle is believed to have a broken rear cab window, in addition to a broken driver’s side window.
