On Monday, October 31st at approx. 12:15AM, the Hemet Police Communications Center received a call regarding criminal threats





On Monday, October 31st at approx. 12:15AM, the Hemet Police Communications Center received a call regarding criminal threats - Jose Esqueda was possibly driving to the victim’s residence located in the 600 block of Mobley Lane. Esqueda was believed to be in possession of a gun and he threatened to kill the victim. While talking with the Public Safety Dispatcher, the victim indicated Esqueda had just parked in front of the victim’s residence. The victim provided a detailed vehicle description.
Officers located Esqueda in a vehicle, parked in front of the victim’s residence. Esqueda was found to be in possession of a loaded 
shotgun. Esqueda was arrested for terrorist threats and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle and public place. Jose Esqueda, a 29-year old Hemet resident, was transported to Riverside County Jail and held on $20,000 bail. No supervised release.
