Riverside County Coroner’s office has identified the two victims as Jose Perez, 27, and Omar Arambula, 24, both of Hemet. The third victim’s identity at this time hasn’t been disclosed.

Riverside County Coroner’s office has identified the two victims as Jose Perez, 27, and Omar Arambula, 24, both of Hemet. The third victim’s identity at this time hasn’t been disclosed.

The triple fatality crash occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m., when a 1995 Honda Accord lost control and crashed into the center divider on the CA-60 eastbound between Country Village Road and Pedley Road.

The Honda, disabled and stalled in lanes after the collision, was then struck by a 2016 Ford Fusion. The driver of the Ford was unable to avoid the crash because it was impossible for him to see the blacked out Honda.
The impact caused the Honda to roll, during which the three occupants were ejected from the vehicle, sending one of them flying over the center divider and into the westbound lanes.
The victim was the struck by oncoming traffic. According Cal Fire Riverside County, a semi truck and multiple vehicles were possibly involved.

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to a reported traffic collision on eastbound Highway 60 near Pedley Road in Jurupa Valley. The first arriving engine company reported a traffic collision involving four vehicles and one semi-truck. There is a total of three deceased victims, and one patient with minor injuries; that has been transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital. All lanes of eastbound Highway 60 are currently closed at the incident. California Highway Patrol (CHP) is overseeing the investigation. A SIG alert was issued for both sides of the freeway, that was shut down for several hours pending conclusion of the investigation and clearing of the roadway.All three victims were declared deceased on scene by paramedics. The driver of the Ford Fusion sustained only minor injuries to the arms and was transported to a local hospital.
