SCAM ALERT
One of our community members was hit by this scam and wants to put out a warning. Be aware of these phone numbers .
Here is the details below on what takes place.
The first one calls you tells you to call the second number to speak to a attorney then they give you the third they know name and last 4 digits of social security claiming a bank and check cashing place claiming that you owe and try to get you to submit a payment NOW.
I've been dealing with this scam for months now stating a parcel is trying to be delivered for a cash loan I took out in 2011, they are insisting I pay immediately. Problem is I have never ever done such a thing. They also state my credit will be hit but this too is a lie.
ReplyDeleteThis just happened to me yesterday! They also called me a couple of months ago to. They claimed i had to felony warrants. Yesterday when the same people called me they kept asking me about my birthday and the last digits of my social . I didnt confirm either way if they were right or wrong. I went off on them yelling saying this is a scam. They also contacted a cousin of mine during the time they were on the phone with me.how do i report them or am i able too?
