On November 27, 2015, investigators from the Hemet Sheriff's Station and San Jacinto Police Department conducted routine compliance checks on 41 registered sex offenders. These compliance checks occurred in the communities of the Hemet Valley area and the city of San Jacinto.  During these checks, 36 of the registered sex offenders were found to be in compliance with the law, and no arrests were made. The remaining 5 offenders were not home during the time of the compliance check. Additional follow-up and checks will be conducted to verify their compliance with the law.


The investigators from the San Jacinto Police Department and the Hemet Sheriff's Station are responsible for conducting random visits of all registered sex offenders living within their jurisdiction. These checks are conducted to continually improve the quality of life within these areas and ensure the safety of the community.  The Hemet Sheriff's Station along with San Jacinto Police Department are committed to take all enforcement measures against any subject found to be willfully out of compliance with the terms of their mandatory registration requirements.
