Hemet - Home Explodes into Flames 4:30 AM this Morning Displacing 3 adults and 7 dogs Leaving Neighbors without Gas or Power til Midnight Tonight

Around 4:30 Am this Thursday Morning numerous calls poured into the 911 dispatch center reporting a loud explosion and a possible fire on Nona Court in Hemet.

When Fire units arrived they discovered a home Engulfed in flames. Neighbors stated that there were people trapped inside the home. 

Fire units were able to remove 3 adults and 7 dogs from the home. The 3 adults did not need medical treatment and animal control arrived on scene to assist with the dogs. 

The Fire crews were delayed on trying to extinguish the fire due to a gas leak that had to be taken care of by Southern California Gas Company before the units could fight the fire safely. 

Responding units were Soboba Fire and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Suppression efforts 

The Neighbors in the area are still without gas and electricity due to this incident as of 1:30 PM and does not expect to have them back on until around midnight tonight or later
