Attempted Armed Robbery- Police Seeking Public Assistance

On Saturday, September 8, 2018, about 2:55 a.m., deputies from the Norco Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery that occurred at business located in the 1500 block of 4th Street, in the City of Norco.
The investigation revealed an unknown armed suspect, entered the business wearing a Halloween style mask covering his head. The suspect appeared to be carrying a firearm in his right hand. The store clerk was in the back of the store and was not visible to the suspect. At one point, the suspect removed his mask and revealed his face. The suspect fled the location on foot without any property. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 35 years of age, six-foot-tall, and weighing approximately 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweat shirt, a green undershirt, black pants, and a Halloween style mask. He also had what appeared to be a firearm in his right hand.
