Home Robbery January 31, 2016, at 11:00 AM Hemet CA

     On January 31, 2016 San Jacinto Police were summoned to 1400 block of Chase Street, regarding a burglary. the suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, dark complected male . The Home Owner 92 year old, heard the noises armed him self with a handgun, when he approached the door the exterior glass shattered from the suspects ax, then the suspect tried to climb in the space, leading the homeowner to fire his weapon at him. The suspect fled the scene leaving behind ax and other items. it is not believed that the suspect has hit.
