The victim in this fatal shooting incident has been identified by the Riverside COunty Coroner's Department. The victim was identified as Joseph Hennings, a 32-year-old resident of Murrieta.

Menifee, Calif.; Following a fatal shooting of an unidentified male at a McDonald's in the city of Menifee, a Big Bear woman was arrested Friday, October 9, 2015, on suspicion of murder.
The incident was originally reported at approximately 6:07 p.m.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Menifee Police station responded to the location after the sheriff's Central Dispatch Center received numerous reports of a shooting that had just occurred at the location.
Upon arrival, responding deputies found a deceased male inside the restaurant. After securing the scene and ensuring the safety of all the remaining patrons, deputies immediately located and detained the suspect, who was later identified as Amanda Harwood, a 35-year-old from Big Bear. Harwood was later transported to the Menifee Police Station for questioning regarding the fatal shooting incident.
Harwood was later booked into jail after the incident, which is located in the 28000 block of Bradley Drive, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release.
Early reports indicated Harwood may have known the deceased male and that the two were possibly at the restaurant together when the shooting occurred. Harwood's bail has been set at $1 million and she is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
In a press release, Deputy Damian Ruiz, Public Information Officer for the sheriff's department wrote, "Sheriff Investigators from the Menifee Police Department and the Riverside County Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit responded to the location and assumed the investigation. At this time the victim's name is being withheld pending confirmation of his identity and notification of next of kin."

One person has been confirmed dead at a shooting that took place at a McDonald’s in the city of Menifee.
The shooting occurred at 6 p.m. at McDonald's located in the 28000 block of Bradley Road near McCall Boulevard in the city of Menifee, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
An official source confirmed the victim was a male and the suspect, a female, is in custody. Police have not released any further information on a motive but a witness from the restaurant said he got the impression the couple were at the restaurant together. The witness, who did not want to be identified said he did not see exactly what preceded the shooting incident, but immediately after the shooting there was temporary panic inside the restaurant.
Witnesses from inside the restaurant told on-scene reporters they had seen an unidentified adult female fatally shoot an adult male, who was believed to possibly be the suspect's boyfriend.
Officials on scene confirmed the victim and suspect knew each other. According to Chief Mike Judge of the Menifee Police Department and there are no outstanding suspects.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Menifee Police station and Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Central Homicide Unit could be seen near and around the main counter, leading some to speculate the shooting might have occurred there, where meal orders are placed.

At around 10:00 p.m., the very last vehicle left in the parking lot after all the customers and employees had been allowed to leave was towed and stored for evidence. It could not be confirmed however who the stored vehicle actually belonged to.

Shortly after the vehicle was towed from the McDonald's parking lot, the Riverside County Coroner arrived at the location.
