Hemet Eye News - Single Car accident takes out light pole causing power outage

Early this morning between 4:00 am to 4:30 Am a single car went off the road at a high rate of speed

striking a power pole on Menlo /Kirby causing the power to go out in the area that this line of power serviced.  

Today Hemet Police put out a notice that power will be cut off so SCE could repair the lines

Power should be restored soon. 

Please be patient with our teams working on this scene as they are working hard to get the power restored. 

We spoke to the manager at the Kirby Liquor who stated that the outage was causing his store

lot of damage to ice cream and ice as well making all his cooler drinks to go warm hoping they get it restored soon !
