UPDATE Hemet 15 yr old Arrested for Attempted Murder after stabbing 28 yr old on Western Ave
Hemet Police Investigate Attempt Homicide
On Thursday, September 8th, at approximately 1:56 AM, The Hemet Police Department received a call of a man down in the area of the 200 block of N. Western Ave. Upon arrival, officers found a 28 year old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The initial investigation led officers to the area of Valley View and Latham Ave. Officers located an apparent crime scene at that location. During their initial investigation they identified and detained a 15 year old male as a possible suspect in the incident. Investigators responded and took over the investigation. The 15 year old male was later arrested and charged with attempted murder and was booked into custody at Juvenile Hall. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is still undergoing treatment for his extensive injuries. The victim’s condition is listed as critical at this point.
The investigation is still ongoing and therefore the victim’s name is not being released at this time. There is no further information to release at this time.
