Wednesday morning fatality Hwy 74 Steinhoff Avenue, Hemet CA 11/25/2015
On November 25, 2015 at 07:05 am, A Hemet Resident David Preciado 26 years old was succumbed to injuries sustained when the 1988 Jeep Cherokee he was driving was struck head on.
CHP Officer Mike Lassig Stated that Hector Suarez Carreon a 27 year old male was driving his Ford ranger west bound on Highway 74 about 60 miles per hour and crossed the over into east bounds lanes that David Preciado was traveling in. Mr Preciado tried to avoid being struck by Hector Carreon though it was too late, to maneuver to avoid the crash.
The Collision caused Mr. Preciado Jeep to a spin across west bound lanes, and rolling over the embankment, ejecting him from the vehicle, causing massive injuries, he died 56 minutes later at the Menifee Valley Medical Center.
27 year old Hector Suarez Carreon, was treated for minor injuries and booked into the South West detention center on suspicion of Gross vehicular manslaughter.
