San Jacinto City Council Can't Remove Hawkins From His Seat But YOU The Community Can DEMAND That He Resigns From City Council

It appears that the roar of the people of San Jacinto is about to be heard. You'll have to attend their next city council meeting on Tuesday July 18th demand Hawkins to resign due to his recent arrest for corporal punishment of two children.  

 Here's what we know about Hawkins. This information is all PUBLIC and is available to anyone who requests it.

1. Hawkins was duly elected to a four-year term. While living illegally in the mortuary. 

2. He uses quite a few aliases. - The question we have is why someone would need to use aliases? The  only reason we can think of is that someone who uses an alias is hiding possible illegal activities.

3. Hawkins will be 45 in August of this year.

4. He has been married 3 times & has several children.

5. He has a social security card but there does not appear to be a record of any employment anywhere.

6. He has had at least 10 phone numbers & 5 different email addresses in the last couple of years

7. He has had multiple addresses in both the Inland Empire, and San Diego.

8. Hawkins has been arrested multiple times, found guilty, and has been incarcerated. He pled guilty of at least one violent felony and several burglary and theft charges. ( See Pics Below )

 

9. He operated a church called Divine Appointment Worship Center at the Miller Jones Mortuary location but failed to pay rent in the months he was there. He was taken to court & a judgement was placed on him.

10. There are multiple addresses for Divine Appointment Worship Center, including his home address.

11. The Secretary of State has a filing for the Devine Appointment Worship Center April 23, 2019 that lists the Chief Executive Officer as Brian Eugene Hawkins, the Secretary as Nicole Shante Hawkins and the Chief Financial Officer as Zoey Hawkins. Zoey was approximately two years old at that time.

12. On April 23, 2020, the Secretary of State has a filing that lists Chief Executive Officer as Brian Eugene Hawkins, Secretary as Terri Allyn Fort, and Chief Financial Officer as Cameron Romera Mabins who was involved with the organization The C.H.A.N.G.E Factor .

13. Apparently, he operated yet another non-profit called the C.H.A.N.G.E. Factor, also in various locations. We couldn’t ascertain the focus of that organization.

14. Hawkins has several judgements against him including Employment Development Dept. (unemployment) for $5612.38 He was not the employee but the employer which indicates he had some employees at some point that were unpaid.

15. He has an outstanding child support judgement filed by his 1st wife.

All the above information speaks of a person with poor judgement, a lack of responsibility, someone who believes it is OK to take something that doesn’t belong to him, and someone with absolutely no moral compass.

It should be noted that he raked in around $500,000 in campaign contributions. Hawkins was turned into the FPPC (Fair Practices Political Commission) for election fraud. He was being investigated however we were unable to find out the disposition of that complaint. However, he made no secret of it. He received a letter informing him that he was being investigated & posted that to his Facebook page. He was under the false impression that FPPC was telling him he was exonerated! It did not and he is not out of the woods yet.

He has continually used his position on the city council to try to bully his way into this community and into statewide politics. This is a guy with absolutely no conscious, calls himself a "man of God", a Pastor. We're not sure where he received his Pastoral education (if in fact he did attend a seminary).  

He is also a race baiter and has used race to boost his own social credibility. This is something that he was passing out himself along with T Shirts promoting his RACE Card at various events.

He has associated himself with many local non-profits that involve children. He should immediately be removed from any board that involves the welfare of children. In fact, he should not be permitted to be around children for any reason. The judge has ordered him to stay away from the children he was accused of punishing severely. We would never leave kids with him.

He has been accused of many things by multiple people, but they seem to be afraid of him and at this time they will not come forward or be willing to testify against him. Those days of safety for him should be over!

It is time for us to do something! We understand that he cannot be removed from a position for which he was voted in, however, the community can demand that he resigns from City Council .

The community at large is not only disappointed but outraged at his behavior. He has made no attempt to explain his behavior and in fact told a Press Enterprise reporter on his exit from jail (when bail was posted), that "he was too busy to talk". 

He is arrogant and takes no responsibility for anything that he does. A sincere Pastor is humble. Look at his website. This is not a truly repentant man.

He recently changed his political party from the Republican party to the Democratic party. The Republicans are really lucky because they just dodged a bullet!

 He made a lot of money as a candidate, around $500,000. What happened to that money? Where did it go?  We do believe he was traveling the country dressed like a revolutionary war figure with his wife dressed-as Betsy Ross. For someone who doesn’t have a job or take money from the church he sure made his rounds.

Do you want this man on city council? Go to the city council meeting on the 18th of July at 6:30 pm, sign up for your three minutes to comment and let the council know how you feel about him and demand that he resigns. Call the Riverside Press Enterprise to let them know there is going to be a real story here. Call channel 2, 4,5, 7, 9,11 and any other that you can think of. We must stand up and make our voices known.

 Brian Hawkins needs to be reminded that he works for the people and as the people we are not happy with him and do not want him speaking for us.  

We want him to resign ! If you can not make the meeting you can call the city clerks office at 951-487-7330 and tell them you cant make the meeting and ask them if you can email the city clerk at jespinoza@sanjacintoca.gov. and give her your 3 mins speech to be read to the council demanding them you want him to resign from council. If they can't then you can have someone come in your place and use your 3 mins to read your statement for you.
