Press Release: Suspicious Death Agency: Moreno Valley Police and Central Homicide Unit Station Area: Moreno Valley Written Date: 04/23/2019 Time: 8:30 p.m. Incident Date: 04/23/2019 Time: 12:11 p.m. Incident Location: 9000 block of Box Springs Mountain Rd., unincorporated area of Moreno Valley Reporting Officer: Sergeant Ben Ramirez File Number(s): MC191130002 Details: On April 23, 2019, at about 12:11 p.m., deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Station were dispatched to a report of a deceased female in the 9000 block of Box Springs Mountain Rd. Upon arrival, officers located the female and pronounced death. The scene was secured, and Moreno Valley Station investigators responded to begin the investigation. Based on the circumstances of the subject’s location, the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The victim is believed to be a female adult, unknown age or race. The victim has not yet been identified. The investigation is currently on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
