Level Plains, Alabama Police Chief Arrested for masturbating in public while in Panama City Beach.

Panama City Beach, Fla. - An Alabama police chief is accused of masturbating in public while in Panama City Beach. 

Panama City Beach Police arrested Billy Maurice Driggers, 44, Thursday and charged him with four counts of disorderly conduct. Officers wrote in a news release that Driggers was seen masturbating in elevators with other people and also while following teenage girls on the beach on Tuesday. 

Driggers never exposed himself while doing this, officers wrote, but his actions were caught on camera. Driggers was also seen taking photos of girls rinsing off in outside showers. 

Driggers is the chief of police in Level Plains, Ala.

Driggers was arrested in Alabama Thursday by the beach police with help from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigations, and the Dale County Sheriff's Office.    

The City of Level Plains has placed Police Chief Billy Driggers on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of Chief Driggers recent apprehension by Florida law enforcement officials on October 4th.

 The City of Level Plains will be cooperating and assisting with the ongoing investigation with Alabama and Florida law enforcement agencies


Driggers has been Chief of Level Plains for around two years. He has worked for several law enforcement agencies in the area.
