Cal Fire with Riverside County Fire responded to an ambulance vs pedestrian in the 600 block of West Seventh Street in San Jacinto

San Jacinto: On Monday, August 21, 2017 at approximately 10:55 p.m., Cal Fire with Riverside County Fire responded to an ambulance vs pedestrian in the 600 block of West Seventh Street. Arriving crews located a female victim laying unresponsive in the roadway, struck by a PMT Ambulance & Premier Medical Transportation vehicle. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. This is still an active and ongoing investigation and more details will be released when available.

On August 21, 2017 at 10:55 pm, Deputies from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to an injury traffic collision on State Street north of 7th Street.
The initial investigation indicated a Ford Van was traveling north on State Street in the # 2 lane. A female pedestrian ran east across State Street into the path of the Ford Van and was struck. The female pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where she remains in serious condition. Northbound State Street from 7th Street was closed for about three hours while the collision was investigated.
